To produce the turmeric extract, the turmeric root is dried and ground into a fine powder. Then the active ingredient curcumin is extracted and concentrated. This results in a high-quality, standardized turmeric extract that contains at least 95% pure curcumin. Each capsule of our product "Curcuma longa" contains 500 mg of pure curcumin from 526.32 mg of turmeric extract. By adding the piperine-rich black pepper extract Bioperine®, we also ensure particularly good bioavailability of curcumin.
Small tip: Consume the curcumin with a fatty meal. This also contributes to an increase in bioavailability.
Since this is a natural product and we place great value on preserving the naturalness of our product sprouts, we use no stabilizers that affect the color, structure, and consistency of a food and no flow agents during filling. Therefore, it can happen that the capsules slightly stain your hands and fingers when taken if they are moist or slightly oily. However, this is not a quality defect but due to the strong coloring property of curcuminoids.
