How are the OPC 240 capsules manufactured?

The OPC we use is obtained in France from the seeds of French grapes. Particular emphasis is placed on sustainability.

Grape pomace, a by‑product of wine production, serves as the starting material for OPC production. To keep the CO₂ footprint as low as possible, this is collected directly from the winemakers within a radius of less than 80 km. The by‑products arising during extraction are processed without exception and reused for various purposes, and the water removed during the process is recycled or used for irrigation of the vines.

The extraction of the OPC takes place in a multi‑step process. First, the grape seeds are separated from the skins and dried. From the seeds the OPC‑containing extract is finally obtained, which is spray‑dried without carriers.

By dispensing with any fillers and excipients in capsule production, such as magnesium stearate, a residue‑free and 100 % pure natural product is created that is also suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
