Gut Recovery Phase 2-B - Prebiotic Fibers as Food for Your Gut Bacteria
Gut Recovery Phase 2-B combines the prebiotic fibers Resistant Starch and Apple Pectin with the amino acid L-Glutamine, beta-glucans, and the B vitamins B12, niacin, and biotin to support the mucous membranes. The powder contains no excipients or additives, is free from allergens, and is 100% vegan.
Secret Tip Resistant Starch
Resistant starch naturally forms when cooked carbohydrate-rich foods like pasta, potatoes, or rice are cooled down. Cooling changes the chemical structure of the starch so that it can no longer be broken down by our digestive enzymes. As a result, it passes unchanged into the intestine where it is metabolized by microorganisms. Another advantage: Resistant starch causes less of a rise in blood sugar than “normal” starch, less insulin is released, and we feel full longer.
Resistant starch is very well tolerated and, compared to inulin, does not cause unpleasant bloating.
