Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide (multiple sugar), which is present in all vertebrates, including us humans, throughout the body. Because of its spatial structure, hyaluronic acid has the special ability to bind large amounts of fluid. The raw material we use does not come from animal sources, but is obtained purely fermentatively. As a result, it is 100 % vegan and free of allergens.
But hyaluron does not only contain hyaluronic acid, it also contains natural vitamin C from rose hips and the trace element copper.
Vitamin C and copper are essential nutrients, which we must intake daily through our diet, because our body cannot produce them on its own nor store them. The trace element copper acts as a cofactor in so‑called metalloenzymes and is significantly involved in the formation and maintenance of connective tissue.
Vitamin C plus hyaluronic acid: Benefit from the nutrient complex
Hyaluron is complemented with natural vitamin C from rose hips. The water‑soluble vitamin supports the normal formation of collagen, an essential component of connective tissue. This thereby contributes to the normal function of bones, cartilage, skin and teeth. Vitamin C is thus not only important for a strong immune system, but also for our musculoskeletal system.
Moreover, vitamin C has an antioxidant effect and protects cells from oxidative stress by reactive oxygen species, so‑called free radicals.
