Fiber Vital Complex contains the clear-soluble, natural fiber Fibersol-2®, which is derived from corn starch.
Fibersol-2® is an odorless, free-flowing powder, that dissolves very well in liquids and consists of 60% long-chain and 40% short-chain glucose units. This special carbohydrate distribution affects its utilization in the body and gives the fiber its particular digestibility:
- 50 % are fermented in the large intestine among other things into short-chain fatty acids
- 40 % are excreted unchanged
- 10 % are absorbed in the small intestine
Due to its low glycemic index of ∼1, it is also suitable as part of a diabetes-appropriate diet.
Consumption recommendation
Stir one heaped tablespoon (20 g powder) into 200 ml of liquid and drink.

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children.
Storage
