Cilantro by BioProphyl contains 50 ml of coriander essence from young coriander plants. As a high-quality natural product, it is ideal as a daily dietary supplement and can also be used as part of a vegetarian or vegan diet.

When we speak of coriander, we generally mean true coriander (Coriandrum sativum). As a member of the Apiaceae family (umbellifers), it has a long history of versatile use as both a spice and medicinal plant, with documented use dating back more than 3,000 years. Its botanical name is derived from the Greek words “koris” for “bug” and “amon” for “anise” or “dill.” It is also widely known by its Spanish name, “cilantro.”
Coriander was already used as a medicinal plant in ancient Egypt. It is said to have digestive and appetite-stimulating properties, which is why it is traditionally consumed in China to support intestinal health. It is popular not only as a spice and food but is also used as a raw material in the pharmaceutical and perfume industries.

For the production of our Cilantro essence, the young coriander plants are processed fresh immediately after harvest using a special extraction method to access the valuable ingredients. Each batch is without exception tested for pesticides and contaminants. Production follows standardized procedures subject to continuous and strict controls. The fresh extract obtained is immediately filled into the original bottles. This process preserves the beneficial properties of fresh coriander.
As with all our products, gentle processing of the coriander and the consistent avoidance of artificial additives and flavors are paramount. In line with our quality standards – nature is our role model. Since this is a natural product, the contained ingredients may be subject to natural variations.
Consumption recommendation
Take 5–10 drops 2–3 times daily with some water.
