Since 1991, we, BioProphyl® GmbH, have been developing, producing, and distributing high-quality and meaningful dietary supplements, whose ingredients have become an important pillar for maintaining our health and vitality—and thus for a better quality of life. Our family-owned company, now in its second generation, has been located in the beautiful Vulkaneifel region with its unique landscape since its founding in 1991. Our story begins in the early 1990s, when the market for natural dietary supplements in Germany was still underdeveloped. Initially only for personal use and for family, our founder Frank Devooght began the search for high-quality nutrients and plant extracts. This sparked the desire to make these available to others, and in 1991, he founded BioProphyl GmbH and developed the first products.

Since then, the product range has been continuously expanded, with an increasing focus on solution offerings such as gut restoration or detoxification.

What has remained unchanged is our motivation and belief that only a well-nourished body can stay healthy and perform optimally. This core idea is also reflected in our company name, as BioProphyl® stands for "biological prophylaxis." And it is never too early to take preventive measures.

Family Business in the 2nd Generation

Today, the family-owned company BioProphyl® is run by Dennis and Ingo Devooght, the sons of the company’s founder. With the same company philosophy, over 30 years of experience, and many new ideas, we work diligently to discover the treasures of nature and process them in a way that allows you, as a customer, to gain the greatest benefit from them.
